College advice? What do I major in?
I have about 10 answers to the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
I’m a Junior in High School and some people would say that it’s a little soon to be thinking about this, but I disagree. I do need help though. I’m mainly working towards becoming a detective (similar to what Olivia Benson in Law & Order: SVU does) or a lawyer. Then on the side I’d like to be a journalist or a music producer (have my own studio and make music) but I have some questions! Can I do two jobs at once, how much college would that be? I’d like to go somewhere in Nevada, close to Reno or Las Vegas (I have family there). Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I really don’t know where to start and how to decide what to major in and where to do it.
I would major in criminal science and go into the police academy to become a detective, and then minor in journalism. Maybe even take a few law classes to have some background for your cases.
