Cloth diaper mommas (& poppas): where do you change your LO? soiled diapers?

My 6 month old has started solids and we are growing up from the BF poo! I’m curious as to what you do with your soiled diapers… I know to shake them into the toilet (and of course that’s fine by me) but I just realized that to do this I would need to change the diaper, put baby down, bring soiled diaper into bathroom, shake then return to nursery to put in diaper pail (or use a tote in the bathroom). Either way it seems like a long walk carrying a soiled diaper… (at least the way my house is set up). Do any of you have a large enough bathroom that you change your babes in there instead? Any other thoughts or tips?

while changing your baby just put the cloth nappy aside when he is all clean and changed pop him somewhere safe to play while you go empty the nappy into the toilet, then put the soiled nappy into a nappy pail in the bathroom,toilet or laundry.

I personally have a bathroom that is set up for a washing machine but as the machine is in the laundry i put the baby bath and change centre there instead, so i now have a shower hose going straight into the baby bath and it all drains away into the laundry sink!
